Here’s a guide to propane tank sizes, to give you an idea of what you’ll need for your New Hampshire home:

100-pound propane tank: A smaller tank like this is for those who use propane for only thing, like cooking or clothes drying.

120-gallon propane tank: This size tank is designed for water heating or space heating, and has enough storage to also power a propane range or clothes dryer.

250-gallon tank: If you run three or more propane appliances, such as a range, a water heater and a fireplace, this is likely the propane tank size for your home. But it is not large enough to run a furnace or a boiler.

propane tank sizes500-gallon tank: Do you heat your home with propane? This tank size is for you. It is also large enough to run propane appliances such as ranges, water heaters or space heaters.

1,000-gallon tank: While this 16-foot-long tank is most commonly used in commercial applications, you may need it if your home is large, heated with a propane boiler or furnace, and uses several propane appliances, including high-Btu ones like pool and spa heaters.

We offer aboveground propane tanks between 120 and 1,000 gallons, while underground propane tanks range from 500 to 1,000 gallons.
